Marco was a fantastic host. The villa was beautiful and we felt so welcome and comfortable
the 4 days we stayed, it was like being at home abroad! Marco was full of helpful advice and
recommendations, we felt very looked after. A very interesting guy who has traveled extensively
as a dancer in a troupe, not a typical Sicilian I would say, but a modern Italian man living
in an historical and beautiful place. If we go to sicily again we will defiantly be stopping
off at Marco's Villa Cetta. Grazie Marco Kathy e Dom

At the end of a long, hot and, at times, frustrating day of travel, Marco appeared at
the Valley of the Temples parking lot like some guardian angel. He was looking to fill
his second room for the night and we immediately felt comfortable enough to follow him
down to his adorable little B & B near the beach, down the hill from Agrigento proper.
After we arrived, Marco moved us in, parked our car on his property for safe-keeping,
and made us a dinner reservation at a quaint little ocean front restaurant. Before dinner,
we shared a glass of wine and talked about the area, his travels to Mexico and the
United States (Marco dances with a folk dance group that has traveled the world),
as well as ideas for the rest of our trip in Sicily. Our room was spotless, with charming,
well-chosen Mexican water colors. The grounds are simple and tastefully landscaped with cactus,
pebbles, and other low-water plants. His location is just far enough from the main drag
to be quiet, but close enough to put you within walking distance of the beach and numerous
local businesses. The next morning, Marco served us a delicious breakfast, complete with
beautiful, fresh fruit, the best pastries we had in Italy, and unlimited Italian coffee.
Yum. After pulling our car out of his driveway, he bid us farewell and we felt refreshed
and invigorated. While in Agrigento, do yourself a favor and stay with Marco -- for the price,
the charm and the breakfast, its a hidden gem.
